The Boomtown project (previously Progressive House) is one of our latest and best pieces of work. Completed in Sidcup in the Kent region, the project required a modern, sophisticated and up-market feel, meaning aluminium renovations were the only answer. Mega Glaze supplied and installed a range of high quality windows and doors, working with a single manufacturer to ensure total unification across the build. By choosing the market leading supply chains that we work with, these modern windows and doors could be finished with a different colour inside and out, allowing for the perfect contemporary aesthetic.

A leading window profile from the country’s top aluminium extruder, we chose the 58BW for this project as it is certified by Secured by Design and PAS 24. As a result, project specifiers and end users can feel safe and secure. Better yet, these windows can be finished in a dual colour finish.
Versatile in configuration and application, we fitted GT55 doors as part of this commercial project. Installed as both front doors and fire doors, they are perfect for regular, heavy duty usage. As a result, they were an obvious choice for the Boomtown project.
As Boomtown featured a balcony, we were able to continue our work with AluK and utilise their market leading aluminium balcony doors. Designed for regular commercial operation and attaining Secured by Design status, they ensure balconies are not a weak point of entry.
